Dr. Marius Schenkluhn

Research Interests

In July 2024, I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis "Augmented Everything: Engineering Compelling Ubiquitous AR Experiences" which concluded my scientific endeavours. You can find it here. Please have a look at my LinkedIn profile to see my current occupation and fell free to drop me a message.

My research at the IISM focused on Augmented Reality User Experience and its potential to revolutionize everyday life in a ubiquitous form. Through rigorous behavioral laboratory experiments, my work was dedicated to refining and comparing promising AR text entry methods and exploring how AR can enhance the control of and interaction with smart homes. I was actively engaged in implementing AR applications and Smart Home setups, driven by the vision of intuitive and engaging adaptive systems that understand our intentions, minimize digital overload and create magical interactions.
