Just ahead of the 2025 federal elections, the Tagesspiegel is once again publishing exclusive insights into the research data from SOSEC. In the interactive article, readers can scroll through the analyses independently and are also offered exciting visualizations. This allows the scientific data from SOSEC to be experienced directly and the controversial political issues in the election campaign to be seen from new perspectives.
The article focuses on the positions of potential voters of different parties. However, the differences between the supporters of the individual parties are also made visible through clever visualizations. The article thus provides a differentiated view of the politically relevant issues before the election and highlights the fact that the lines of conflict do not only run between supporters of different parties. In some cases, there are also substantial differences between supporters of one and the same party. From war and peace to climate policy, social policy and migration policy, the article addresses important topics from the survey.
In addition to the data from SOSEC, our partners at Tagesspiegel also provide analyses of the discursive strategies of the parties on digital communication platforms. This results in a comprehensive analysis of the situation ahead of the Bundestag elections.
