As a master’s student in computer science, I work as a student assistant at the FZI. In this role, my work contributes to the Democracy News Alliance with an emphasis on technical development. I am involved in data journalism, working with large datasets to connect journalistic content with thematically related data on democratic developments across countries and regions, and to visualize this data in ways that provide contextual support for the articles. My research interest centers on translating complex data into comprehensible visual formats that support informed public discourse.
